tiny butterfly...

tiny butterfly
white
tattered wings
delves into
the gold of
a sunflower

Australian farms...

Australian farms
are overcast
for Australians

but shine as
someone else's
promised land

is this a seasonal phenomenon
or
a political lifetime

when the earthly heart feels wounded...

when the earthly heart feels wounded
crushed by cruel words
somewhere
there are wings
enfolding
the higher self
with wonder

NOTE
This is a reference to a magical connection yesterday
found in a time of need
HERE

even when Spring is grey...

even when Spring is grey
and cold rain lashes the blossoms
there is still a warm window
to watch the birds
seek
their Spring nest

candy music...

candy music
jangles
I long for
the symphony of
the winds and
the sea

it is late...

it is late
life is still
just me and
the rush and roll of the waves
remind me
it is late

procrastination is...

procrastination is
two-faced
delicious freedom
today
raw
pain
tomorrow

I cannot tell him...

I cannot tell him
the truths he spins
are cloudy
many threads
are frayed
broken

Two Sides

I am realising
Some of the sweetest words are born
Of bitter pain

Beginnings...

Fresh realities
New eyes
New breath
